Upcoming change: Removal of offline_access permission

A thread has recently come to my attention regarding an upcoming (7/15/2012) change in the Facebook Graph API. Once the offline_access permission is removed, some changes will probably be necessary in FacebookPSModule to ensure that the module will continue to function as it has in the past. Changes in usage may also be necessary -- possibly, you will need to extend your access token every 60 days, although I don't know this for a fact at this time. Unfortunately I won't be able to research this until next month. Here are some other links on the subject:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8982025/how-to-extend-access-token-validity-since-offline-access-deprecation/9035036#9035036

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

Jon

It looks like the API change has been postponed until October per https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2012/07/05/platform-updates--operation-developer-love/. This gives us some extra time to work out how to handle the change.
